The photo was taken on July 6, 2008 when the water was too high and powerful for this photographer to kayak, even though she has successfully kayaked the Gorge before. Strength & Dignity This majestic bird of strength was flying along the side of a railway bed between Kettle Falls and Colville, Washington. In the winter of 2006 I turned right and crossed over the train track, and this beauty gave me permission and posed for my shot. The card is a larger 5.5" by 8.5" card.
